Candledales TV Debut on Fox7 Austin

I had the pleasure this morning of being featured on Fox7 Austin's lifestyle morning show Good Day Austin presented by The Front Market of Future Front Texas out 100+ vendors.

The Front Market promotes the market every year through press and they always feature a small sample of vendors out of their 100+ options of vendors that participate in their market. When The Front Market reached out to me I was so excited about this opportunity that I reschedule a flight to make sure I could attend. I was so flattered they chose me to feature so I had to make it happen.

During the segment, I gave a brief description of what makes Candledales different from other candle brands, and I explained how Candledales put its candles to work by planting a tree for every product sold (through my partnership with One Tree Planted) and the remaining 10% of my profits going towards uplifting Austin's LGBTQIA+ youth through my partnership with Out Youth.

Prior to the segment, Fox7 asked that we bring our most visually attractive product due to the fact that it was raining today and we had to film the segment inside of Ani's Day and Night. We had to consolidate our set ups since we had to do the segment inside. Since I could only have a select few products, I chose my best ones.

The products I featured in my set up were intentional because I wanted them to get the spotlight. Two candles from my iridescent collection since it is my newest and most beautiful collection, and a candle I collabed with a local Austin artist to create. Oakdale, my best seller, was front and center because duh, it's my best seller. I then positioned Forestdale to the left of Oakdale because Forestdale is a closer contender for my best seller. On the right of Oakdale is my recent collaboration with Shane Loza Designs because I love how the collab came out and I wanted to showcase it. Then on the far right corner is one of my coconut based, naturally infused oil reed diffusers because they are a beautiful and fragrant extension of the Candledales brand.

I then explained how I embed my personality into all of my branding because I like to think of myself as a bubbly and positive persona and I want to share that with others. Like Tierra said, I'm the "Dale" of all the "'dales."

Along with my portion of the segment, I had the honor to share this feature with three other women-owned businesses: Chiquita's Clay, Funk It Wellness, and 8-12. Please check out their sites as they are some badasses with great missions and products.

I had a blast this morning and was so honored to have been feature. You can watch the feature at this link: https://www.fox7austin.com/video/1146349
